How we comply with privacy obligations

This Privacy Statement sets out the policy of Creo Fitness and its franchisees concerning how we obtain, use and disclose information about you, including through our website at this Privacy Policy explains Creo Fitness's approach to the handling of personal information, and how we comply with our privacy obligations.

The National Privacy Principles bound Creo Fitness set out in Schedule 3 of the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (“the Act”).

If you provide us with information about your health, we also strive to ensure that our handling of that information complies with applicable State and Territory health records legislation.


We use all reasonable endeavours to secure any Personal or Sensitive Information that we hold about you and to keep this information accurate and up-to-date. Your Personal and Sensitive Information is stored behind industry-standard firewalls and where applicable, protected by user names and passwords. Where appropriate, your Personal and Sensitive Information is kept within a locked storage room.

What Personal or Sensitive Information do we collect from you?

For this Statement, “Personal Information” is information from which your identity is apparent or can be reasonably ascertained. “Sensitive Information” is information about your health.

Personal Information is also collected when you provide business cards or other documentation to us containing such Personal Information, including when you complete a Membership Agreement and a Health Questionnaire. Personal Information also includes information we collect in the course of providing services to you and communications between you and us.

The types of Sensitive Information generally collected by us include information relating to your health and health-related information that is necessary to advise you about fitness training properly.

We collect personal information from you, including information about your:

  • contact information
  • location
  • computer or network
  • interactions with us
  • billing or purchase information

We collect your personal information to:

  • that directly relates to our business

Besides our staff, we may share this information with:

  • a 3rd party to effectively fill our role when relevant and required situations arise, e.g. emergency services, security & refund policies.

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter a certain type of information, we'll be unable to provide some services.

We keep your information safe by storing this in a secured portal and only allowing certain staff to see it.
